Great food and fun staff

Well I am just visiting town for work and I only get to sit down once a week for breakfast if I’m lucky. Which is my favorite meal of the day. Well to start the gravy tasted like a hotels gravy(you know the kind out of a can)! I ordered hash browns crispy and the out side was crispy and the inside was like mashed potatoes! The eggs were a little over cooked but ok and the bacon and coffee was by far the best part of the meal. Just want to find the right place. I will say the wait staff was very good.

Never disappointed. Service is always good. Food is worth the wait.

Glad we went. Great service. Great food. Great prices. Definitely will go back next time we are in Midland. Small place but we had no wait for seating, ordering, or service. Food was fast and hot.

Very busy the morning I went, around a half hour wait for our food. Definitely worth the wait though, I had a ham and cheese omelette with hash browns and toast. I really enjoyed the omelette, but the hash browns were unlike any others I've ever had unsure if I like them.

We had breakfast here a couple of days ago. We've driven past this restaurant so many times. We didn't stop because they were always packed. Now, we know why. The food was fantastic. Standing room only, but worth the wait. Service was excellent. One suggestion.....sausage gravy could be better. Will definitely visit Laskos again!

Wonderful French toast and excellent bacon today.

Fast friendly service combined with a very good home cooked style meal. Along with BIG portions! Great place to eat breakfast and lunch.

My dad loves this place so we decided to check it out and we were not disappointed. The omelette with the sausage gravy over it was delicious. My client ordered chocolate chip pancakes and she loved them! Very clean restaurant. Staff are friendly and service is quick. Will definitely be back again!

Amazing breakfast food! It can get crowded because of the short hours the store operates in, but it's worth the wait.

Excellent diner. Everything fresh, hot and plentiful. Locals flock here and is almost always busy, but you never wait long for a table! Great service also!

This better be the HOLY GRAIL of BLTs. $15+ for a BLT with fries and extra bacon??? I use to serve for 5 years, I know there would be an upcharge for extra bacon, but that much of an upcharge? And the menu did not say fries weren't included. BEYOND irritated.Update: it's terrible. Soggy and on regular thin bread.

Stopped in on a busy Sunday and the line was out the door. Every employee had a smile on their face and worked really well as a team. Despite the line, we were seated quickly and had drinks right away. The food was outstanding. From the blueberry pancakes to the biscuits and gravy. Everything was perfect. I can't wait to come back again.

Reuben was great. Their signature ingredient— corned beef — was tender, moist and flavorful. Would have enjoyed the inside dining experience more if the server had worn her mask over her face instead of under her chin whenever she was near our table.

Excellent food, excellent customer service... We love this place!

Food okay and afforable. Service fast. Soup came after sandwich, odd. No crackers with soup. Small glasses. Turkey Reuben kinda wet. Very limited menu.

Another good find thanks to fellow reviews. We stopped in here on the way home from up north. It was jammed, but we got a seat after a short wait. The food was very good and arrived hot. They have a large selection of different flavored pancakes. The banana pancakes were excellent. The portions were large. We took home enough for another day. The service was great as well. The coffee cup wasn't empty once and came around to see how everything was. If you are in the area, it is worth stopping in.

Love!!! Awesome breakfasts and lunches. Huge portions, fast service, friendly staff. Might have to wait a bit as they are extremely popular! I love sitting at the counter and watching all the action on the line, lol. Be advised... Laskos in Bay City is not the same (different owners).

The best pancakes and piggy skillet. I made a long line for good pancakes in a famous place in Chicago, Lasko’s are far better!!

Great breakfast and lunch place, piggy omelette is fantastic. They make their own ham and corned beef too, so the hash is excellent. Can have limited seatjng around peak times but tables turn over quick. Great staff.

Muy bueno club sandwich. Fries were deliriously delicious. Pepsi! was served. Anyone who reads my posts knows I love Pepsi. A titch pricey though, but great service. Kudos.

Strawberry Pancakes are huge. The country ham is the best around. I can't wait to get back there and eat again!

Ordered a well done cheeseburger, with added mushrooms, as well as an order of gravy biscuits. The cheesburger was pretty good, I enjoyed the flavor, even if it was a teeny bit dry. I also appreciated the pickle on the side instead of in the burger. The gravy biscuits were too much though. The biscuits were cheap quality and the flavor of the gravy was very bold and in your face; it needs to be toned down to be good. Overall I'd visit again even though its a tad pricy.

Great food and awesome service! It is amazing to watch the workers hustle about and with smiles too! I personally like the Piggy omelet with pancakes. That is one huge and satisfying breakfast!

One of the best local food places around, consistently good food and service. We at least visit here once a week.

My boyfriend and I went in around lunchtime and despite them being pretty busy we got our food quickly. Our waitress was attentive but not to the point of being overbearing. The food was good and the atmosphere was very casual.

Wonderful service, good food and plenty of seating.Stopped in during our bike ride on Sunday morning around 10. It was pretty busy but we were lucky enough to get a table right away. There is seating outside but with the humidity we ordered inside. Which wasn't much better because the restaurant was packed and the cool air was hard to feel.Our server, Crystal, I think, was very friendly and attentive. She checked in with us just enough to keep our coffees filled and to see if we needed anything else.I ordered the French toast with a side of sausage and hubby ordered the piggy omelette. Both were delicious and very large portions! The side of sausage comes with three patties and the French toast has six half slices of bread! Even with how busy they were the service was still wonderful. My only complaint would be the air conditioner. With the amount of people inside and the high humidity it would be a little more comfortable if it were set a bit cooler.

Great place to eat breakfast or lunch. Large omelettes and enormous pancakes. Love the corn beef Swiss. The Lasko burger is huge and delicious. All for very moderate prices. Servers are all very friendly.My only complaint about this restaurant is the size and space. It's very crowded normally when we go and you often have to get family friendly with the surrounding tables. But this is only because the place is so great that so many people come! I highly believe that a larger location could benefit them greatly!

Out of this world service, food, and atmosphere. Great choice to go for great great food. And a lot of it for a cheap price.

Had a nice simple Breakfast at the Counter. Love their Bacon. Done right. Eggs are fresh, toast is nice. And had 2 pancakes that are the Best Around. Clean. Fantastic Service. Nicely prepared. Very home style. Can't go wrong.

Having enjoyed Laskos in Bay City, my girl and I stopped here while in town to pay a speeding ticket... it put that farce out of mind! It encapsulates the ‘diner’ experience. I ordered a cheeseburger and she choose a gyro. Both were delicious along with the side order of fries (crispy the way I always ask special for). The service was friendly and very fast... we had our food in five minutes. The view along the glass window wall was nice and sunny on this brisk winter late morning. We left full and satisfied. Laskos in our ‘goto’ for breakfast and lunch whenever we’re in Midland.

Visited here for breakfast this past weekend and it was delish, came 2 days in a row!! Was seated quickly even tho they are busy! I enjoyed the Farmers skillet, and pancakes, the next day I tried the waffle, everything was tasty, especially the cinnamon raisin bread! The staff is nice and friendly! Prices are good, Bathrooms clean ... That's always a plus. I will definitely return in the future when I visit the Midland area again!

I love Laskos. It’s a bright, friendly atmosphere with delicious food and nice people. The breakfast is on point. I love the strawberry mandarin orange chicken salad for lunch. They have some Greek food options too which is nice. If you like Gyro meet, this is your place!
